नेपालको सुदूरपश्चिम प्रदेशको कञ्चनपुर जिल्लाको पुनर्वास नगरपालिका वडा नं.३ रामबस्ती स्थित श्री गोरखा आधारभूत विद्यालय पुनर्वासको मुटुमा रहेको पुरानो विद्यालय हो । वि.स.२०३७ साल फागुन ५ गते स्थापना भएको यस विद्यालयमा हाल कक्षा ८ सम्मको पढाई भैरहेको छ। विगतमा गाउँ घरमा स्कुल खासै नभएको समयमा यस विद्यालयमा विद्यार्थी संख्या उल्लेख मात्रामा रहेको देखिन्छ । यहाँबाट अध्ययन गरि जानेहरु कुनै कुनै व्यक्तित्वहरु हाल देशको उच्च पदस्त स्थानमा हुनुहुन्छ।तामाङ समुदायको ९९.५%बाहुल्यता रहेको यस विद्यालयमा हाल विद्यार्थी संख्यामा कमी रहेको छ । कारण विभिन्न रहेका छन् जसमध्ये बोडिङ स्कुल प्रति मोहो बढ्नु ,चारैतिर विद्यालय सञ्चालनमा आउनु ,समुदायको आर्थिक स्तर बढ्नु ,जनसंख्या वृद्धिदर कम हुनु नै मुख्य कारण रहेका छन् । भौतिक र शैक्षिक रुपमा विद्यालयको अवस्था राम्रो नै छ । विद्यालयको नाममा करिब ४ बिगाहा जमिन छ । खेल्ने चौर,भवन,शौचालय ,सुचना प्रविधि (सामान्य) ,बालमैत्री वातावरण ,नेपाल सरकारको दिवा खाजा कार्यक्रम,लगनशील तथा तालिम प्राप्त दक्ष र अनुभवी शिक्षक आदिको व्यवस्था रहेको छ । तसर्थ विद्यालयको शैक्षिक उन्नतिको लागि विशेषत समुदायको महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका अपरिहार्य छ । विद्यालयलाई आफ्नो सम्पति र समुदायको गौरव ठानी तदनुरुप आफ्ना क्रियाकलापहरु अगाडी बढाउनु अभिभावकहरुको मुख्य जिम्मेवारी रहनुपर्ने छ । शिक्षकहरुको मिहिनेत ,नवीनतम ज्ञानको प्रयोगले पनि गुणस्तरीय शिक्षा प्रदान गर्न सकिने भएकोले तदनुरुप शिक्षक चल्नु आवश्यक छ । धन्यवाद
Shree Gorkha Basic School, located in Rambasti, Ward No. 3 of Punarwas Municipality in Kanchanpur District, Sudurpashchim Province, Nepal, is an old and historic school situated in the heart of Punarwas. Established on Falgun 5, 2037 BS (February 17, 1981), the school currently offers education up to Grade 8. In the past, when there were hardly any schools in the village, this institution had a remarkable number of students. Several alumni who studied here now hold high-ranking positions in the country.
Although the Tamang community accounts for 99.5% of the population in this area, the student enrollment in the school has currently declined. There are various reasons for this, primarily including the growing attraction towards boarding schools, the proliferation of other schools all around, an improvement in the economic status of the community, and a lower population growth rate.
Physically and academically, the condition of the school remains quite good. The school owns approximately 4 Bighas of land and is equipped with a playground, buildings, restrooms, basic information technology (IT) facilities, a child-friendly environment, the Government of Nepal's midday meal program, and a team of dedicated, trained, competent, and experienced teachers.
Therefore, the active and vital role of the community is indispensable for the educational advancement of the school. It should be the primary responsibility of parents to treat the school as their own property and community pride, and to move forward with their activities accordingly. Furthermore, teachers need to keep pace by delivering quality education through hard work and the application of modern knowledge. Thank you.
